Log Segments
The Log Segments menu in NextBee allows business owners to manage and assign segments to their members. There are three options available for this: Add a Segment to a Member, Add a Segment to Multiple Members, and Upload Segment Data File.
The first form, Add a Segment to a Member, allows the business owner to assign a segment to a single member by inputting information such as segment name, member email, and member name.
The second form, Add Segment to Multiple Members, enables the business owner to assign segments to multiple members at once by inputting information such as segment names and member emails.
The third form, Upload Segment Data File, allows the business owner to upload a large list of member data to assign segments. This form is useful when the business owner wants to upload large amounts of data into the system. The data can also be uploaded through NextBee's SFTP servers and will be automatically processed by backend jobs.
In general, NextBee automatically adds and upgrades members' segments. However, the forms in the Log Segments menu provide a way for the business owner to override the system and assign specific segments to specific users.

Add a Segment to a Member

The "Add a Segment to a Member" form allows the business owner to assign a segment to a single member. The form requires information such as Segment Name, Member Email, First Name, and Last Name. The user-friendly form makes it easy for the business owner to assign segments to individual members. Upon saving the segment assignment, a confirmation message will be displayed on the screen.

Add Segment to Multiple Members

In this form, the business owner can select the segment from the available options in the Segment Name list and enter the emails of multiple members in the text area provided. The form is designed to make the process of assigning segments to multiple members efficient and convenient for the business owner. It is especially useful in situations where the owner wants to quickly add segments to a large number of members.

Upload Segment Data File

This form is designed to help business owners who want to bulk assign segments to their members by uploading a data file. The form has a file upload button and a link to download a sample file. The sample file serves as a guide on how the data should be formatted.
Once the data file is uploaded, a backend job is triggered to process the data and assign segments to the members. It may take a few minutes for the backend job to complete.
