# Log Activities

The Log Activities menu in the NextBee Insights Dashboard provides three options for recording and tracking activities within the loyalty program. The first option, "Create Activity to a Member," allows the user to log a single activity for a single member. The second option, "Create Activity to Multiple Members," allows the user to log the same activity for multiple members at once. The third option, "Upload Activity Data File," allows the user to import activities from a spreadsheet, making it easy to log large amounts of activity data at once. These forms provide a convenient way for the user to keep track of member engagement and program participation.

The "Create Activity to a Member" form in the Log Activities menu allows the user to create a specific activity for a single member. This form includes fields such as Activity Type, Activity Name, Email, Referrer Email, First Name, Last Name, Transaction Amount, Transaction Id, Transaction Details, and Activity Status.

There is also an option to create a new member if they do not already exist in the system, or to simply create an activity without allocating points. The form also provides the ability to add metadata to the activity in the form of custom attributes, allowing the user to include any necessary information to properly track and understand the activity.

Using this form and multiple emails, we can create any activity for a large number of users.

It includes the following fields: Activity Type, Activity Name, Emails, Transaction Amount, Transaction Details, and Activity Status.

This Form is particularly useful if the business owner wishes to quickly add an activity to multiple users at the same time.

# Upload Activity Data File

The Upload Data File form in the Log Activities menu allows a user to upload a data file that contains information about the activities they want to log into the system. The form consists of two fields: Activity Type and Activity Selection List, and a File Upload button.

By selecting the Activity Type and choosing an activity from the Activity Selection list, the user can specify the type of activity they want to log. They can then use the File Upload button to upload a file that contains information about the activities they want to log.

Once the file is uploaded, a backend job will be triggered to process the data. This form is especially useful when the user wants to upload a large list of data into the system, as it eliminates the need to manually enter each activity one by one. There is also an option to upload data through NextBee's SFTP servers, and once the data is uploaded to the server, it will be automatically processed by the backend jobs. It may take a few minutes for the backend job to complete.

The form has a file upload button and a link to download a sample file. The sample file serves as a guide on how the data should be formatted.
