# Data Preferences

The Data Preferences page in the Business Configurations section of the NextBee Insights Dashboard provides organizations with the ability to manage their data collection and processing preferences. This page includes options for configuring the platform to collect data from specific sources and process the data in a specific way.

For security purposes, all data saved in this page is stored in the database using encryption. The Data Preferences page has four components: List Page, Create New, Details Page, and Edit Page.

# List of Data Preferences

The List of Data Preferences page in the Business Configurations section provides a comprehensive view of all the data configurations that have been set up for the organization. The page displays a list of configurations with columns showing the configuration ID, Config Type, Provider, Status, and Actions.

A user can easily add a new configuration by clicking on the "Add New Configuration" button, which opens the Create New Configuration form. This form allows the user to set up a new data configuration by specifying the relevant details.

For each configuration in the list, the user can view more details by clicking on the "Details" button, which opens a details view for that specific configuration.

The List of Data Preferences page also provides a convenient data filter feature, which allows the user to quickly search and find a specific configuration. Additionally, the page provides pagination functionality, so users can easily navigate through large lists of configurations.

# Create new Data Preference

The "Create New Data Preference" page allows organizations to create new data configurations that are tailored to their specific needs. The form begins by asking the user to select a configuration type from a list of options such as DBAccess, overrideEmailHeader, callBackSpecs, SFTP, WSDL, API Login, overrideCookieProcessing, overrideEmailFormat, overrideEmailAccount, S3 Information, GoogleAnalytics, and Other.

Once the configuration type is selected, the form will ask for a Configuration Provider, which can be either NextBee or the business itself. Based on the configuration type and provider selected, the form will display a list of fields that contain the required attributes for the chosen configuration. These fields will vary depending on the configuration type and provider selected, but they will all be necessary to set up the data preference.

# Details of Data Preference

The Details of Data Preference page in the NextBee Insights Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of the selected data configuration. The page displays all the attributes and properties associated with the configuration in a clear and organized manner.

The page has two main components, the Status section and the Edit button. The Status section displays the current status of the configuration, which can be either Enabled or Disabled. The status can be updated by clicking on the toggle button.

In case any changes need to be made to the configuration, the Edit button can be used. This will open the Edit Data Preference form, where the attributes and properties of the configuration can be updated. The form will contain the same fields and options as the Create New Data Preference form.

# Edit Data Preference

The Edit Data Preference screen in the NextBee Insights Dashboard allows you to manage your data preferences by updating existing configurations. The screen will display the existing preferences saved in a user-friendly form, and you can update any of the data by simply editing the fields. Once you have made the desired changes, simply click the "Save" button to apply the updates. If you need to cancel your changes, you can click the "Cancel" button to navigate back to the list view. This screen provides a convenient way for you to keep your data preferences up-to-date and aligned with your business needs.
